WHO WE ARE

Partnering with the agricultural industry
Based in Paarl near Cape Town, NexusAG (Pty) Ltd provides comprehensive crop care services and distributes agrochemicals to the farming community in the Western Cape, Northern and Eastern Cape, and beyond. We also offer guidance and information to growers.

Our expertise is underpinned by more than 10 years of experience in the agricultural industry, and our services are delivered through a network of more than 50 well-trained field specialists, who are also AVCASA-certified agronomists. Through our agronomists and field specialists, we partner with farmers, growers and role players in the agricultural industry to provide professional advice and high-quality products.

Our expertise and experience have been acquired over more than ten years in the agricultural industry as we started out as BayAgro WP in 2000 and established NexusAG (Pty) Ltd in 2002. Today, we are the partner of choice in the local agricultural industry.

Our footprint
Our services and products are delivered through a network of well-trained field specialists who are also AVCASA-certified agronomists. Although they mainly work in the Western Cape, they serve an area that stretches from Augrabies and Upington in the north to the Gamtoos and Sondags River in the east.

From our head office in Paarl, we provide logistical, financial, procurement and technical services to our field specialists, in cooperation with the various suppliers.

Our field depots, which are conveniently located in all the major agricultural centres, stock our full range of crop protection and nutritional products applicable to major crops – including pome and stone fruit, citrus, grapes, wheat and vegetables.

WHAT WE OFFER

• Full crop care services: We offer full crop care services for all the major crops. We have field depots in all the major agricultural centres with a full range of products distributed and serviced by well-trained AVCASA-certified agronomists who specialise in the various crops throughout our service area.
• Distributing agrochemicals: We provide our clients with easy access to all the crop protection and plant nutritional products you require – such as fungicides, herbicides, insecticides, fertilisers, plant growth requlators, adjuvants, soil enhancers and other commodities. This access is made possible by our field specialists and network of field depots stocking our full range of products. All our products are supported by professional advice from our field specialists. Our suppliers include industry-leading local and international companies.
• Guidelines to growers: We provide growers with information on our products and the usage of these products.

We adhere to Good Agricultural Practices and our agronomists are certified by AVCASA (Association of Veterinary and Crop Associations of South Africa), a Section 21 company representing companies involved in the crop protection and animal health products industry in South Africa.
